About Venteur

Our Story

Founded in 2021, Venteur is dedicated to helping all individuals find high-quality health insurance.

For sibling co-founders, Stacy and Tim Edgar, this mission is personal. Growing up, Stacy and Tim’s parents left full-time employment to pursue their dream of starting a business. But shortly after launching their business, their dad got sick. The problem was that the family had no other option but to rely on a small business health plan that was higher in cost and lower in coverage than the big company benefits plan that the family had left behind. As a result, health care costs became a lifelong burden for their family.‍

A generation later, not much has changed. The safety nets available to small businesses or independent contractors remain expensive, inadequate, and confusing.‍

It’s time for that to change!

We’re building a better benefits system, one that provides the coverage you want at a price point you can actually afford. And we’ll help you every step of the way to make informed choices based on your needs.

A Partnership That Matters

Our partnership with Florida Realtors® brings our solution to the entrepreneurs and small business owners who drive Florida’s real estate market.

How does the Health Plan Navigator work?

If a user is self-employed:

Getting started with Venteur is quick and straightforward. First, users sign up and enter their basic demographic information, including date of birth, address, and name. Using this data, Venteur’s AI-powered platform suggests health insurance plans that are personalized to your circumstances. You can browse all available plans and use filters to refine your options by plan type, carrier etc. Once you’ve selected the plan that’s right for you, you can complete the entire enrollment process directly on the platform.

If a user is accessing Venteur through their employer:

The process begins when an employer’s company page is created on the Venteur platform. From there, the employer invites employees to log in and shop for their health insurance plans. Each employee creates an account, enters their demographic information, and is presented with a list of available plans. Once a plan is selected, employees complete their enrollment directly through the platform. After enrollment, Venteur manages premium payments, oversees the plan administration, and provides dedicated support throughout the year to assist with coverage questions, claims, provider changes, or any other health insurance needs.

You can also use the Health Plan Navigator to access additional products at a discount, such as care navigation, home, life, or auto insurance, and 501R assistance that can lower your overall healthcare costs.

What’s the difference between this and the ACA?

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a federal law that created health insurance marketplaces and established rules for coverage, subsidies, and protections—like preventing denial of coverage due to pre-existing conditions. It made individual health insurance more accessible and standardized across the U.S.

Venteur, on the other hand, is not a government program or insurance carrier. It’s a private platform that helps people access and manage health insurance—often through the ACA marketplaces.

Here’s the key difference:

The ACA provides the rules and infrastructure for health insurance.

Venteur helps you navigate and use that system more easily.

For Individuals:

The ACA creates the marketplace where plans are listed.

Venteur helps you compare those plans, understand your options, and enroll—often with personal guidance and support.

For Employers:

The ACA allows employers to support their employees in buying individual health plans.

Venteur enables that process, handling contributions, reimbursements, compliance, and employee education.

In short, the ACA is the what, and Venteur is the how—a user-friendly tool that helps you take advantage of the options the ACA makes possible.

How can I sign up for a Health Plan?

Once we go live:

Register on the Venteur website.

Provide basic demographic information like your ZIP code, household size, and whether or not you’re a tobacco user to see which health plans you qualify for.

Review your plan options: browse personalized health insurance plans available in your area – including details on premiums, deductibles, and provider networks.

Ask for help if needed: Venteur offers support from licensed insurance advisors via phone or scheduled consultations.

Enroll directly through the platform: Choose your plan and submit your application – Venteur will confirm your enrollment and guide you through any next steps.

What is Venteur?

Venteur is a modern health benefits platform that helps both employers and individuals find and manage health insurance in a simple, personalized way.

For employers, Venteur offers an easier alternative to traditional group health plans. Instead of picking one plan for everyone, employers choose how much money to contribute each month. Employees then use those funds to purchase their own individual health insurance plans that fit their personal and family needs.

For individuals, whether you're self-employed, a freelancer, or in between jobs, Venteur guides you through comparing, choosing, and enrolling in a health insurance plan. The platform offers expert support, easy-to-use tools, and help understanding your options—so you can find a plan that actually works for you.

Whether you’re shopping as an individual, or through your employer, you also have access to Venteur’s concierge support team. You will have access to a dedicated support team made up of licensed insurance producers, who can help with anything from working with you to determine what plan is best for you, to help with finding providers, understanding bills and claims, helping you update your policy, or anything else that comes up with your plan during the year.

Venteur:

Helps you shop for individual health insurance with confidence.

Offers support with enrollment and ongoing plan management.

Handles the details—like reimbursements and compliance—so you don’t have to.

Whether you're an employer offering benefits or an individual searching for the right coverage, Venteur makes health insurance more flexible, transparent, and tailored to your needs.
