Here's what you can expect to see in Open Enrollment 2024

  • More consumer choice.
  • More insurers are entering the market and the ones already there are expanding their geographic footprint.
  • Additional state-level subsidies. Especially if you live in California, Washington, or Massachusetts. You could see your premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums lowered further than in past years.
  • New auto-enroll rules. If you qualify for a better deal, CMS wants you to have it.
  • More time for 26 year olds to get off their parents’ plan.

What is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is a designated period during which individuals can enroll in or make changes to their health insurance plans. During this time, employees can choose a new health insurance plan, make changes to their current plan, or switch plans as per their current health needs and financial considerations.

Open Enrollment is crucial because decisions made during this period will affect an individual’s healthcare coverage for the upcoming year, unless there are qualifying life events that allow for changes outside of this period.

For Venteur, as an ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) administrator, Open Enrollment is a pivotal time. Venteur is the only ICHRA administrator that utilizes advanced AI technology to assist companies in saving money with an ICHRA plan and aids employees in selecting the health plan that best suits their and their families needs.

Our team is thrilled to introduce you to Venteur’s new, upgraded ICHRA platform: Artemis.
